Emily Abeles

Emilv Abeles is an LA based actress, singer, and dancer who is so incredibly ecstatic to be making her Broadwater debut alongside such a talented cast and crew. Passionate about celebrating empathy as a form of strength, Emily aspires to represent underestimated characters and stories. After all, "the privilege of a lifetime is being who you are, truly, who you are" (truth spoken by Miss Viola Davis). Emily is also a graduate of UC Irvine's BFA in Musical Theater, and is most known for her roles in The Little Mermaid (Ariel), Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables), The Mistress (Evita), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), and Candace in the new media pilot, The Fallen. When not performing, Emily loves writing, cooking, gardening, challenging her puppetry skills, hanging with her pup, Hashbrown, and has a firm belief that the perfect cup of coffee can cure all woes.
